Shanti and Mark’s ceremony was originally planned under the trees with the lake as the back drop at Bridal Veil Lakes. However, the day was forecasted for light sprinkles throughout the day and to keep the chairs and guests dry, we adjusted the event plan and used the wood pavilion for the ceremony. Our team set several rows of chairs for the family members and the older guests while their friends and families gathered for a standing ceremony.
With the surprise weather change, the experience from the team of Weddings By Voila revised the Bridal Veil Lakes reception layout and guest flow to allow the guests to have access to the covered bar and for the server passed hors d’oeuvres during the social hour.
Food quality and quantity is important at special events like weddings. With the chefs of Voila Catering cooking all the food on-site at Bridal Veil Lakes, it was like having a gourmet restaurant in the middle of the northwest woods!
After time to socialize and enjoy a beverages, the guests were invited to move to the dining canopy for the toasts. During the toasts, the service staff of Voila Catering, reset the Bridal Veil Lakes Pavilion with buffet table and the food that was just prepared on-site with their portable convection ovens. Led by the Newlyweds, the 113 guests served themselves dinner thru the four lines buffets in less than 7 minutes!
