Wonderful chamber music was combined with gourmet hors d’ oeuvres at the Friends of Chamber Music private fundraising dinner concert this weekend generously hosted by Karen and Daniel Hansen in their beautiful Beaverton home.
As the guests arrived for the fundraising dinner, our catering staff served Northwest wines and passed elegant individual hors d’oeuvres before the music started.
The intimate concert continued for over 45 minutes with several selections played for the very lucky attendees. After the concert, our chef prepared and our Fresh Bay Shrimp Cocktails with Vanilla Bean Citronette, Seared Diver Scallops with Celeriac and Truffled Beurre Fondue, and Spring Asparagus Bisque with Basil Creme in demitasse cups.
These elegant small plates were server passed while china platters of Smoked Pepper and Housemade Ricotta Cheese Crostini with Garlic Aioli, Wild Boar Tenderloin Crostini with Pecan Butter and Apple-Horseradish Relish, Lemon and Thyme Chicken Bouchee, and Coconut Lime Shortbread Bites were stationed around the house.
Voila Catering and our staff were honored to be selected for this special fund raising event and loved the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful music at this Friends of Chamber Music fundraising event!
