Nancy and Joe were a little unconventional…..for their honeymoon they took their two month vacation to Africa before their Laurelhurst Club wedding! They were confident that they were in good hands returning only a few day before the wedding with having Weddings By Voilarunning the show. After a simple ceremony inside the Laurelhurst Club, the staff of Voila Cateringquickly moved the ceremony chairs to the pre-set dining tables for the reception as the guest got a beverage at the bar.
The additional cost for our planning of Nancy & Joe’s wedding at the Laurelhurst Club was zero beyond the normal catering and event planning costs from Voila Catering, saving them $1500 to $2500 for a outside wedding coordinator….leaving them with more money for their next trip to Africa!
Elegant server passed hors d’oeuvres were offered after the Laurelhurst Club ceremony while the guest enjoyed a selection of Northwest Wines and Microbrews.
The family-style dinner was all cooked in Voila’s portable commercial ovens at the Laurelhurst Club by the chef team from Voila Catering. After the Baby Greens Salad with fresh local Hood Strawberries with creamy Chevre, candied Oregon Hazelnuts and a balsamic vinaigrette, the guests were served platters of Dijon and Tarragon Chicken Breast, Roasted Peruvian Purple, Red, and Yukon Gold Potatoes, and Garlic Sautéed Spring Asparagus Spears with Grand Central Artisan Bread on the tables.
