Trish attended Tana and David’s wedding at the Laurelhurst Club in July 2010 and loved everything from the venue to the service and the food! So when it came time for her wedding to David, she knew she the Laurelhurst Club was the perfect place and knew she wanted the same great food from Voila Catering!
The couple invited a few friends and family to attend the simple ceremony at the Laurelhurst Club with a Jazz Swing Band to provide the music! After the wedding ceremony, a larger list of guests joined the celebration with server-passed hors oeuvres and seasonal micro-brews and quality NW wines.
For the cocktail reception, Voila Catering provided tall tables for the guests to gather. Having tall tables allows the guests set their glass down while the mingle or join in on the dancing. To keep with the winter holiday season theme, red tablecloths with sparkly gold overlays where selected by Trish and Pete. The Laurelhurst Club provided the beautiful christmas tree for the season!
Guests were invited to join the event in the evening after the traditional dinner period so just hors d’oeuvres and dessert were provided with the beverage service. Trish and Pete selected the following seasonal menu items with Chef Tamara:
- Seared Wild Salmon Bite on a Wonton Canape with Citrus Miso Sauce
- Dijon Braised Rabbit Fricassee Bouchee with Wild Chantrelles
- Brie Cheese and Fresh Grape Relish Toast
- Seared Duck Breast with Pear and Golden Raisin Chutney Toast
- Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion Tartlet
- Roasted Pumpkin and Coconut Soup with freshly grated Nutmeg
- Dungeness Crab with Lime-Ginger Slaw Cucumber Cup
Trish and Pete selected our Oregon King Estate Pinot Noir, Washington Canoe Ridge Reserve Merlot, Oregon Eola Hills Chardonnay, and Hogue Washington Sauvginon Blanc as the wines for the evening. Oregon Full Sail Wassail, Bridgeport IPA, Deschutes Mirror Pond, and Full Sail Cascade Pilsners were also served by Voila Catering. After the guests had time to mingle, the staff of Voila Catering passed Sparkling Italian Prosecco and Sparkling Apple-Marrionberry Cider to the guests for the toast at the Laurelhurst Club!
