September 9th, 2011 was a beautiful day for Elizabeth and Brian’s wedding at Bridal Veil Lakes about 40 minutes east of Portland in the Columbia Gorge. A big fan of our Café Voila in Portland, Elizabeth’s mother Carol was very excited to have the wedding planners of Voila Catering managing the event. The team from Weddings By Voila planned everything from the schedule and the logistics to the meal and the decorations.
The family style dinner menu was custom created by Exec. Chef Tamara of Voila Catering and featured the fresh seasonal, local ingredients for the Bridal Veil Lakes dinner. To achieve the highest food quality, all the food was cooked at Bridal Veil Lakes in portable commercial ovens and sauté stations by the Voila Chef team right before serving.
After wedding reception dinner, the party moved into Bridal Veil Lake’s pavilion for cake cutting and the ceremonial first dances. The party continued into the evening!
The evening ended with a sparkler sendoff with the newlyweds driving off together after a wonderful wedding at Bridal Veil Lakes to start their life together in a classic Mercedes convertible!
